Lay apostolate/3rd Order?
Good Morning!
I remember one of the participants on the last day bring up if there could be a lay order that could be formed. Fr Gallagher looked like he was going to say something to that, but he let the lady continue speaking. Has there been talks to form one for the Oblates?

My 30 sec research comes up if there is not a Second order (sister/nuns), could there ever be a Third order?
A lay apostolate may be an option but how does that come about? Does the laity suggest it and to whom?
On reflecting that we have 14 Rules to follow/memorize/teach and suggestions to attend an Ignatian retreat and pray like Ignatius...:) ...it looks like the HS is leading us to a deeper relationship and if we had the support of others in a community it may be very helpful as well as fruitful to the OMV who need prayers, support and volunteers.
